My-Therapist, Inc.

Individual, Couple and Family Therapy

Training Program

In addition to providing therapeutic services, My Therapist, Inc. is an internship placement site and training program for students who are in an MFT Masters program and for post-graduate clinicians earning hours towards MFT licensure.

Our training program in Marriage and Family Therapy consists of two hours of weekly individual supervision, monthly group supervision, and participation in our professional organization on a national and local level.

Interns average about 15 hours per week. This includes 8-10 hours of client contact, intake and clinical paperwork, administration, and attending supervision and trainings.

Our supervisor is Carole C. Cullen, MA, LMFT (AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate).

Upon successful completion of the training program, and graduation from their Masters program in MFT, students may be offered to move to the next level, Associate Clinician, and continue their work with clients on a per-diem basis.

How to Apply:
Students must submit a cover letter, resume, and three references. Information should be emailed to info@mytherapistnc.org

Reduced Fee Services

Through our training program, clients receive quality services, at a low rate of $50 per session. Our interns are closely supervised, have a tremendous amount of support and training, and are selectively chosen for their experience, skills, and specialties.

At My-Therapist, Inc. we work with couples and families to help them build strong healthy relationships.  We work with couples to develop effective communication skills to enhance their intimacy and honest expression of feelings.
